Hi. I'm Chris Carpenter, the author of "Google Cash". People are always asking me which online business products and resources I use and recommend and which to avoid. This guide details the tools and information I use and recommend.

I have tried most of the different tools, services and resources out there, and spent hundreds of hours trying to find the best ones for my businesses. Here are the ones that I have found that have the best customer service, the best reliability and sometimes the best price. With any of these ChrisPicks you cannot go wrong.

Registering Domains

• GoDaddy
  I register a ton of domain names. Godaddy has great prices and a good system for managing your domains. Definately get your domain names at GoDaddy.
  
  GoDaddy also has website hosting. Do Not host your website with GoDaddy. It is inexpensive, but has horrible customer service. I have had bad experiences with hosting websites with them. I have also heard stories from friends who as well have had problems with Godaddy's hosting.

Website Hosting

• iPowerweb
  In my opinion ipowerweb is the best place to host your website. I highly recommend them. They have great customer service - fast response. This is very important, because websites go down, it is a fact. But, iPowerweb fixes their problems quickly and usually without you having to say anything. Their uptime is fantastic. And their price is one of the best.
  
  I could have saved myself a lot of time and money had I hosted with them to begin with. I now have several websites hosted with them for 4 years + and have never had any major issues or problems.

Designing and Building Your Website

• RentaCoder
  Instead of designing or building your website yourself, have an expert bid on the project and build it for you. You won't believe how inexpensive it is. I have had turnkey 100+ page websites built for under $200. I like rentacoder over eLance. On average the work is the same quality but less expensive.

• eLance
  Like rentacoder, except pricier. It is a good idea to post your project on both rentacoder and elance and see what sort of bids you receive.
  
  
• Site Build It
  SiteBuildIt offers just about everything you will possibly need for doing your research and getting your site online. It is an awesome choice for someone who wants to bulid their own website but does not know html (or much else about web development for that matter). Check out what they have to offer, you will be quite amazed!

• Mini Site Creator
  If you want to build your own website, this is the best system on how to do it. It is an Audio / Video course. Jim Edwards, shows you in detail how to build your own site. It is not that hard to do, and he takes you by the hand and shows you how.. You can do it!

Email Lists - Autoresponder

• aWeber
  In my opinion they are the best autoresponder on the market. I have tried all of the big players and several little ones too. I've even setup autoresponder software on one of my servers. Until I went with aWeber I had countless problems with my emails lists.
  
  Like ipowerweb, aWeber also has excellent customer service.

Order Processing

• Clickbank
  If you are selling a digital product: an information product or software then clickbank is an excellent choice because of their built in affiliate program. They only allow digital products though.
  
  
• Paypal
  Paypal is another popular order processor. Clickbank accepts paypal, so if you are selling digital products use Clickbank. If your product is not digital then paypal is a good order processor.

Anti Spam

• Spam Bully
  If you use Outlook Express or Outlook for your emails, then Spam Bully is a great tool to stop spam. I get thousands of spam emails a day, and Spam Bully cleans of my mailbox, so that the spams get deleted, and the emails I want, make it through.
